Welcome to cornopub

Cornopub is dedicated to improving the quality of classic horn music.  Etude books and solos have been cleaned up, made error-free while using great new materials.  The music is in a new format to help readability, page turns and rehearsal ease.  All of this to help this new generation have more comfortable, more beautiful and more accurate music.

UPDATE:    Here is the preview of 2012 new releases.  In March a brand new instructional handbook will be released with details and descriptions and fun to help you iron out your horn challenges.  It will be in the style of Phil Farkas' classic with short chapters you can peruse to help you or your student with most any horn problem, The How-to Horn Book.

How-to Horn Book chapters include:  Instruments, Embouchure, Breathing, Tone Quality, High Range, Low Range, Tuning, Trills, Stopped Horn, Accuracy, Economy, Nerves, Injuries, Performance Basics and Section Duties (and more, of course!).  Cornopub is also working to help out the high school horn player and the professional with imporved solo literature.  On the "Horn Solos" page, all of the solos have brand new piano score reductions which are clearer for the pianist and the music lays better under the fingers.  The orchestra reductions have been made smarter while still sounding full.  You no longer need a virtuoso to succeed in performing these works.

All the basic etudes are covered:  technique, low horn, lyrical studies, scale studies, cadenza study and advanced techniques.
