Bach Cello Suites are now available in a brand new format and adjusted to the earliest manuscripts. This edition is a fourth lower than your old edition, as if you were playing the old version in C horn (but no transposition needed). Most of the suites are in bass clef. No slurs or articulations are inserted, just straight from the oldest remaining manuscript. There has only been minor editing to the many grace notes and some editing in Suite 6 which is almost unplayable because of its extreme high range. The cornopub edition will give you a good opportunity to actually perform Suite 6. This is a marvelous book for developing musicianship.
